BookSmugglers... which is the coolest blog name ever

The fabulous ladies of TheBookSmugglers.com are hosting a two-day event for me. First, they posted this rather wonderful, and very thorough, joint review on NICE GIRLS DON'T HAVE FANGS. They've also posted an interview here where I talk about the warped upbringing that led to my writing career. Leave a comment or ask me a question and you could win one of two complete sets of the Jane Jameson novels!

P.S. When did we get switchblades? Did I miss a meeting?

You're going to have to make a con. Going to RT?

Not sure about RT, but definitely going to RWA. I really want to meet everybody face to face!

Well, that's probably not going to happen at RWA.

I think Michelle Rowen goes to that, sometimes Jackie.

I would love to win a set of these books--people keep recommending the books to me.

I do have a question--who do you base your characters on? Are they totally out of your head or do they have characteristics of your friends.

I can't wait until I have an UF or paranormal out so I can join the gang! In the meanwhile, loving your books!

Jessica,

It's sort of a combination of people I know and people I've made up. Friends' weird quirks and habits have a tendency to make it in the books.

Thanks.

I have to tell you that the reason I started reading your books was because it was compared to another series I love. I keep reading the books because they are extremely funny and well written. I have been lending them to my sisters and friends, who were not familiar with the Urban Fantasy, or Paranormal Genre. They have loved the series and as a consequence I have now battered paperbacks. We are impatiently waiting for your next book. Lastly, I would like to ask if you have another series in the works?

I have a werewolf romance series coming out in March and April of 2011!
