Yeah, one more reluctant adult here with free books

Heeeyyy, everyone!

For those who have no clue who I am, I'll keep this short. My name's Dakota Cassidy, and I write fluffy (like lightly whipped fluffy), humorous paranormals for Berkley Sensation.

Mark Henry invited me to join the League after I threatened heinous acts of violence against his person, involving my stilettos and an old can of Aqua Net. After much resistance, and the utter ruination of a sassy pair of red pumps, here I am :)

In celebration of my forced entry... er, induction to the League--I got booty for ya :)

Here's what I'm in for, and this is what ya gotta do--post in the comments section. Just say hello--that's it :) That enters you in the contest for...

A signed copy of the second book in my Accidental series,  Accidentally Dead, but that's not it. I'll buy TWO books--winner's choice--written by any of the authors here on the League. That means you could win books by Caitlin Kittredge, Jaye Wells, that meanie-butt Mark Henry, Michele Bardsely, Jackie Kessler, and so on.

The books have to either already be on the stands, still available for order, or available for pre-order, and I'll have them shipped directly to you.

Seriously.

Oh, and because I'm way classier than Anton, I'll sign a can of Spaghetti O's, too-- the Spaghetti O's WITH hot dogs.

Don't forget to comment, and I'll announce the winner on Tuesday--so be sure to check back here to see if you've won!

Dakota :)

Don't fear, being part of the league was worth those red pumps. :)

I love it when there are book give aways from amazing and delightful authors! It stalls the decision of choosing between food and books; which is becoming increasingly apparent as the days dwell on. =/

Thfft. The Spaghetti-O one-upmanship here is getting kind of silly. Still, a chance to win new books by great authors (and with an intro post like that, how can they not be great)? Why not? If for no other reason than to be able to pimp it out to my selectors and library users...

Tanya said...

Hello Dakata....would love to be enter for this contest :)

Daun Ann said...

Hey 'Kota, glad to see you here. I'm sure Mark enjoyed the stilettos, but he had to cave in with the Aqua Net. :-) Yeah, 'Pagito's w/HOT DOGS.

I'm glad you're giving away the second book, I have your third one already pre-ordered.

My husband LOVES your material. He's even willing to take the Accidental series around as is, to read in public. Your writing gives him woodies. He'll grab your book and go 'Woodie time'

When I win, you can send me Michelle's 'Wait Till Your Vampie Gets Home' and 'Over My Dead Body'

HUGS Dakota.

Pat said...

Is this the place to be or what?? I can't believe Mark Henry tried to keep you out of here. Let me know if you need any help kicking his butt. (Even if I AM on his email list :-) And what an offer, Spaghetti O's too!! Now there's a meal to look forward to. I would love to win your book, and get a chance to try some of the authors that I haven't read yet.

Remember, just because you don't eat meat, doesn't mean you can't still eat junk food.

Your name has been on my TBR list for awhile, but I didn't put it together with your book cover--which I remember seeing when it was reviewed (very positively) by one of the bloggers on the Girlfriends' Cyber Circuit. Now that I've made the connection, you're totally moving up on my TBR list. :)

Oopsy Daisy said...

Hello--that's it. ;-)

Seriously, Dakota you've GOT to pick me as winner because I sent my copies of both books to my daughter in Germany and now they've made their way through so many Army wives hands that my daughter has no idea where they've ended up. So I have no hope of ever seeing them again. {{{sob; boo-hoo}}} I don't know if I will be able to make it through the rest of this horribly long winter without DC books on my bookshelf and more importantly in my greedy little sweaty hands.

Ohhhh...Pick me, pick me, pick me! (she says jumping up and down repeatedly).

Oopsy Daisy said...

And btw, Spaghetti O's WITH hot dogs are da frigging bomb. You rock Dakota!
