Well, hello there

I'll keep this short since I know there are a bunch of intros here. Hello! I'm Michelle Rowen and I write the Immortality Bites series for Grand Central Publishing that started with Bitten & Smitten. I'm very happy to be officially considered a reluctant adult. I've been reluctantly adult for quite a while now, but there has been no specific designation of this. ;-)

I write books about vampires, demons, angels and other sundry creatures. The aim is that they're supposed to be humorous, but I consider what I write "fun with angst." Sort of a comedy-drama deal. Sometimes I even succeed.

Anyhoooo... I'm also joining the ranks as a young adult author later this year with my Demon Princess series for Walker Books for Young Readers. And next year I have a new series with Berkley Books about humorous paranormal romance demonic possession sparking up.

I also write as Michelle Maddox...my first book under that name, Countdown, is currently a Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice nominee for Best Fantasy/Futuristic as well as a PEARL nominee. This is less with the funny and more with the thriller feel. Thus the pen name.

I saw Countdown at the library and didnt think to pick it up....now i wish I had. Loved bitten and Smitten but have yet to read your other titles. Will see if i can pick those up too.

Jackie... I do want to write more Maddox books in the future but at the moment I'm focusing on my Rowen books at the moment. I will have a short story in next year's Mammoth Book of Time Travel Romance as Maddox, though.
